Led by former Marshfield runner Jazmin Chavez, the Lane CC Titans won the 2019 NWAC Cross Country Championship Monday at Lacey, WA. Chavez, a freshman, finished second in the women’s 5K with a time of 19:08. Lane placed six runners in the top eight to win the title. Spokane won the men’s race with Lane second. Southwestern Oregon was ninth. Jeremy Potter was the top Laker in 42nd (29:22). The Laker women were tenth. Daniela Vimbela led SWOCC in 31st (21:35).
