K9 Funds, Dec. 9

The Coos County Sheriff’s Office K-9 program was entered into a grant with the winner receiving $5,000 in September 2019. The grant winner was determined by popular vote, with 369 K-9 Units in the running from across the nation. Untimely the outpouring of support from our community and around the Nation assisted our K-9 program in winning the grand prize grant from Aftermath Services LLC. Representatives from the corporate offices of Aftermath Services LLC will be in Coos County on December 9th 2019 at 4:00 pm to present Sheriff Craig Zanni with the winning proceeds from this grant. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office invites all media outlets, citizens, supporters, co-workers and anyone who would like to attend the ceremony on December 9th at 4:00 pm. The ceremony will take place at the Owens Building, located at 201 N. Adams Street, Coquille OR 97423. The event should only take about 30 minutes, however we would love to see you all in attendance to support the pups. Thank you very much for your support of our K-9 program. It would not be possible without all of you. Adam C. Slater, K-9 Supervisor / Patrol Sgt.
