Good Monday morning.  Sunshine, a few clouds, highs in the 50s and lows in the 40s, winds continue light and variable.  Rain by Tuesday.  Countdown to Christmas intensifies.  Hopefully, you got a kick start with a couple of Bazaars last weekend.  There are more coming.  Love those homemade cookies!  In our news, kind of saw this coming, another delay in the Commercial Dungeness Crab start.  Meat content still too thin.  ODFW Commission met last Friday and did a whole of talking about fishing in Southwest Oregon. They also amended trapping regulations within the Oregon Dunes. Small quakes over the weekend at the Southern End. BLM has some prescribed burns coming up that might put some smoke in the area. Speed limit to change in downtown Empire. Motorist headed to I-5 might experience some delays on the freeway.  We have the latest on the Flu in Oregon.  Vacancies in Public Safety one of the topics before the North Bend City Council during a work session today.  DOGAMI Board meets in Portland.  Marine Board accepting comments on the Twin Lakes in Deschutes Co. North Bend School Board has a regular session.  K9 Funds accepted today by the Sheriff’s Office thanks to an On-Line campaign.  Second language students at SWOCC assisting at the Charleston Marine Life Center.  Salmon angling shutdown on the Wilson River.  Changes to the SNAP program  OPRD accepting comments on special benefit passes.  State Forestry Advisory Committee in Salem today.  Final tips on the Health Signups.  Young writers group at CBPL.  Protecting your money during the Holidays, we have some advice.  DUII fatal on Hwy. 395.
