A report from the Oregon Employment Dept.  Local Government Grant Program cycle begins.  Do you think about Radon Gas in your Home?  Officials say now is the time to think about it.  DOGAMI Governing Board is in Portland today.  Friday Foreign Film at CBPL heads to Iceland.  Oregon Conservation & Recreation Fund event in Bend this weekend. More free sample fitness at CBPL.  Free Nancy Tea Party at NBPL.  Christmas Tree disposal time in North Bend.  Fire Dept. will help tomorrow.  Oregon Heritage Commission meets.  Fighting for the right to fight exhibit closing in Portland. Military deserter taken into custody at Cape Perpetua.   Warrant arrest, VRO, DUII, on the local police logs.  Prep sports schedules for the weekend for both NBHS & MHS.  Boy’s basketball tournament in town beginning today at MHS and ending Saturday at NBHS.  Youth wrestling all day Saturday at MHS.  It’s a kick to watch!  SWOCC basketball teams at home Saturday.  Pac-12 men’s basketball last night great for the Ducks in OT, but Beavs fall at home to ASU.  Women’s teams are in the Desert this weekend.  Don’t forget the Seahawks and Packers on Sunday in an NFL playoff game.  Should be fun!  Have a great “Weekend in the West,” lots to do, and thank you for your support.         Matt
