Report from MHS Principal Travis Howard, Tuesday, Jan. 14. “Late this afternoon CBPD received a report of a possible threat to Marshfield High School. CBPD and MHS representatives were able to conduct a thorough investigation and determined the threat was not viable. CBPD will continue to conduct patrol checks in the area of MHS all morning Wednesday, Jan. 15. Casey and I will meet with the students and their accompanying parents Wednesday. A big thanks to Coos Bay PD and Casey McCord for their after-hours work on this situation.”
