Visiting Marshfield swept North Bend in the annual Bay Area Basketball Rivalry series Saturday night. The Lady Pirates (5-10) beat the Bulldogs (3-9) 41-31, while the Marshfield boys (10-4) prevailed 57-55 over North Bend (2-10) as senior Landon Ginn-Forsberg put a missed shot in the bucket as time expired and the Pirates prevailed. The two teams will head back to their own league’s next week to finish off the regular season. Marshfield will host Cottage Grove Tuesday night in a 4A District 4 game at the Pirate Palace. North Bend returns to 5A Midwestern League play at top-ranked Churchill in Eugene Friday night.
