Marshfield’s swim teams swept a four-way home meet Friday at the Mingus Park Pool in Coos Bay. The Lady Pirates won with 429 points to North Valley 180, Phoenix 180 & Reedsport 68. Marshfield’s boys won with 382-points to North Valley 219, Phoenix 166 & Reedsport 35. Aaron Hutchins (200 Free 2:04.96), Jack Waddington (500 Free 6:06.09) & Zach Randle (100 Free 55.28) each won one event and swam on the winning 400 Free Relay team with Robert Kliewer (3:56.86). Kady Cooley won two events for the Lady Pirates. The senior took the 50 Free (28.41) and 100 Fly (1:14.77). Mira Matthews won the 200 Free (2:20.38) & 100 Free (1:02.54). Paige Kirchner won the 200 IM (2:37.57) & 500 Free (6:08.05). All three were also on the winning 400 Free Relay (4:19.97) with Kally Haynes who also won the 100 Back (1:16.38). The four also won the 200 Free Relay (1:55.42).
