Good Thursday morning, clouds and rain showers in the forecast.  Highs and lows nearly the same 55 to 49.  Winds out of the South to Southeast at 5-10 mph.  Cloudy tonight with winds from the South at 5-10 mph. More of the same on the last day of the month.  The popularity of Bandon Dunes still drives Southwest Oregon Regional Airport, they’ve announced Denver flights are moving up a month this year.  ODOT says work will be getting underway on the new Scottsburg Bridge.  It will not be completed until the year 2022.  Hwy. 62 out of the Rogue Valley north to Crater Lake has reopened.  Not snow, but rocks.  Small quake at Cape Mendocino.  Vocal teacher Ken Graber is the OM Educator of the Year.  He’s worked his magic at both MHS & NBHS.  The history of white supremacy in Oregon is laid out in a new journal with the Oregon Historical Society. State Marine Board accepting boating facility applications.  Do you need real ID?  Oregon DMV might be able to help you. Registration is now open for this year’s Women’s Veterans Conference in Oregon.  ODOT has a new division leader.  School threat in Roseburg. Turns out to be false.  Deputy and K9 hit the schools on the Central Coast for a little educating.  Guilty plea to mariner arrested in federal waters off the Oregon Coast.  He was cooking meth at sea. Unlawful entry arrest on Central Coast.  He just walked in. Unlawful taking of elk on Coos/Douglas line.  However, investigators have photos of interest.  Police logs show school bus driver needed police escort following threats.  VRO in North Bend.  And, a female attempted to cart off about $600 in groceries from Safeway.  Second time this week that has happened.  In sports, prep schedules for today for both NBHS & MHS.  Marshfield’s boys move into the Prep Polls this week.  SWOCC basketball falls at Umpqua.  Because of the Super Bowl on Sunday, the Pac-12 moved all of its games up a day this week.  So, full schedule tonight for the Ducks and Beavers.  Have a good Thursday and thank you for reading.  .  Matt
