Plane Flips on Emergency Landing, March 4

The pilot was not injured after a single-person prop airplane flipped over during an emergency landing Feb. 22nd near Tenmile Creek in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area (ODNRA) near the Coos-Douglas county lines. According to a report from the Oregon State Police, troopers used ATV to reach the plane after the pilot hiked out of the wreck area and called for help about 5:30 p.m. The plane was recovered during daylight hours.
