Coos Bay Public Library, in partnership with Bob Hill Publishing, LLC, will present publisher’s second poetry anthology, Terra Incognita: Oregon Poets Write for Ecological, Social, Political, and Economic Justice. Event will be held on Saturday, March 14 from 1:00pm-3:00pm in the Myrtlewood Room at the Coos Bay Public Library and is open to all members of the public. Terra Incognita touches on the emotional leftovers of war, abuse, unjust treatment people of color, immigrants, homelessness, wealth inequity, climate change, the ongoing pervading climate of growing division amongst people within the United States, gun violence, and more. The 42 Oregon poets in the book come from all across Oregon, expressing their concerns and hope for a better future. Authors to read poems from the book may include Ariel, Joy McDowell, Vicky Falcom-Vasquez, Paul Suter, Gary Crater, and Amalie Rush Hill.
