The Oregon State Marine Board seeks written public comment on a petition requesting a “proposed boat speed limit of 25 mph” on Woahink Lake in Lane County. The petition also requests a “physical posting of this safety speed limit.” Written comment will be accepted until April 5, 2020, by 11:59 pm. Comment can be submitted by email to osmb.rulemaking@oregon.gov, fax at (503) 378-4597 or by U.S. Mail to Jennifer Cooper, Administrative Rules Coordinator, Oregon State Marine Board, 435 Commercial Street NE, Salem, OR 97301. Testimony will not be accepted by telephone. The Board will meet on April 15, 2020, and may make a motion to deny or to accept the petition and initiate the rulemaking process.
