Coos Bay Public Library Continues to Offer Services, April 3

In an effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and comply with Oregon’s Stay Home, Save Lives order, the Coos Bay Public Library building will continue to stay closed to the public. The library will continue to offer digital services such Library2Go, TumbleBooks, and hoopla. These services offer movies, e-books, audio books, and more. Starting April 6, 2020, physical materials will be available during the closure via mail. The library will mail a limited amount of holds to patrons with a zip code of 97420 or 97407. Holds can be placed through patron library accounts online or by calling the library. The library is extending loan periods and no fines will be levied during the closure period. The book drop remains open. Updated information will be provided through the library’s Facebook page, webpage www.coosbaylibrary.org, and by phone Monday – Saturday 11am – 5pm. Call 541-269-1101 or email bayref@coastlinelibrarynetwork.org for further assistance.
