Marine Board Virtual Meeting, May 13

The Oregon State Marine Board will be holding its quarterly Board meeting on May 13, 2020, beginning at 8:30 am via Microsoft Teams and live-streamed from the agency’s office, 435 Commercial Street NE, in Salem. The Board will enter executive session per ORS 192.660(2)(h) and at the conclusion, reconvene into its general meeting to discuss and consider the following agenda items: Proposal for the Duckworth Memorial Dock in Portland (informational); Potential Legislative Concept, Expansion of the Towed Watersports Education Program; Update on Rulemaking for North and South Twin Lakes in Deschutes County (informational); Consideration of Rulemaking for Outfitter/Guides CPR/First Aid Notification Requirements, Life Jacket and Fire Extinguisher Labeling Updates in OAR 250-016-0025, 250-010-0010, 250-010-0154, 250-010-0155, 250-015-0010, 250-016-0075, 250-016-0077, 250-021-0030, 250-021-0100; option to adopt rules; Consideration of Rulemaking for the Waterway Access Grant Program, OAR 250-014-0001, 250-014-0500, 250-014-0505, 250-014-0510; option to adopt rules; Possible Rulemaking via Petition, Newberg Pool; option to initiate rulemaking process. Consideration of Rulemaking for the Newberg Pool, OAR 250-020-0032, 250-020-0385; option to adopt rules, and; Update on Lower Willamette Rule Advisory Committee; endorse regulatory concept.
