Hood River-based Dakine, an outdoor gear maker, will move its headquarters to Southern California and lay off 39 people due to COVID-19. Wood products manufacturer Bright Wood laid off 211 workers at its facilities in Redmond and Madras due to COVID-19. Blue Mountain Mini Market in Mt. Vernon closed. Sunset Empire Park and Recreation District in Seaside laid off 50 of its 57 employees due to COVID-19. Ichidai Sushi in southeast Portland, closed permanently due to COVID-19. Salt & Straw will reopen its Lake Oswego and three Portland locations that had been closed due to COVID-19. North Umpqua Video in Roseburg will close. Valley Rock Gym, an indoor climbing space, will open in Corvallis.
