Coos Bay Public Library, in partnership with Bob Hill Publishing, LLC, presents a sampling of publisher’s second poetry anthology, Terra Incognita: Oregon Poets Write for Ecological, Social, Political, and Economic Justice. Virtual event will be held on Thursday, June 18 at 5:30pm via Zoom and is open to all members of the public. Terra Incognita touches on the emotional leftovers of war, abuse, unjust treatment people of color, immigrants, homelessness, wealth inequity, climate change, gun violence, the pervading climate of growing division amongst people within the United States, and more. The 42 poets in book come from all across Oregon, expressing their concerns and hope for a better future. Five poets will read from the book: Amalie Rush Hill, Charles Castle, Marc Janssen, Jade Rosina McCutcheon, and Marilyn Johnston. Come enjoy some poetry! It’s FREE! Email Paul at librarycoosbay@gmail.com for Zoom access code.
