Work on OR 126W is scheduled to begin Monday, of August 4 and continue for 2-3 days. Work will be conducted during daytime hours, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The ODOT contractor will grind rumble strips and depressions for the pavement markers, apply a sealant to the roadway, and install the reflective markers. The contractor will return at a later date, after the sealant cures, to install new highway striping. Work on OR 126E is expected to begin on Wednesday, August 6 and continue for 2-3 days. Work will be conducted at night, 6 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday through Thursday. The contractor will grind depressions for reflective markers, apply a sealant to the roadway and install the reflective markers. The contractor will return at a later date to install new highway striping. During the construction at both locations, there will be a single lane of travel through the active work zone. Flaggers and pilot cars will control travel. Delays of up to 20 minutes can be expected.
