ROSEBURG, Ore – The Rogue-South Coast Multi-Species Conservation and Management Plan (RSP) stakeholder teams meet virtually next week to continue ODFW’s plan development process for winter and summer steelhead, coho salmon, and cutthroat trout. Teams will meet individually on August 26 and together August 27. During the individual team meetings, ODFW and Stakeholder team members will continue consensus discussions on proposed management strategies and actions for the plan. Reconciling differences between the two teams and working toward full group consensus is the focus for the joint meeting. Due to the Governor’s Stay Home, Save Lives order, the meetings are held online and by teleconference with the agenda posted online on the RSP website. The meetings are open for public observation, however given they are virtual and shortened, public comments will not be taken during the meeting. Instead, public comments will be taken August 26 through September 4 by emailing ODFW.RSP.Comments@state.or.us August 26: South Coast Stratum, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Join online first and get an Audio PIN: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/296261061 After joining through the link above, or if you do not have an internet connection to join, dial into the meeting: 1-669-224-3412 (access code: 296-261-061; enter Audio PIN when prompted if you first joined through the internet connection).
