Prepping for the Elections, Oct. 1

General Election ballots will be mailed out of the Coos County Election’s Dept. on Oct. 15, 2020 to registered voters according to a news release from County Clerk Debbie Heller. Ballots should arrive between Oct. 16 & Oct. 21. Those who do not receive their ballot by Oct. 22 should contact the Elections Office at the Courthouse in Coquille. “For voters new to Oregon you must have your voter registration card postmarked or submitted to the Coos County Elections Office no later than October 13, 2020 to be eligible to vote in the Nov. 3, 2020 General Elections. Ballots can be returned to any of the Ballot Boxes located in each Coos County city. A list of the Ballot Drop-Off sites can be found at the Election’s Dept. website www.co.coos.or.us
