NBPL release – At noon on Tuesday, December 1, North Bend Public Library will host a webinar, “Holiday Meals on a Budget.” Stephanie Polizzi of the Oregon State University Extension Service will show how a good meal can be delicious and nutritious without emptying the wallet. The webinar will be a Zoom presentation. The link, https://oregonstate.zoom.us/j/229803250, will be available at the library’s website and Facebook page, and is expected to last 1 hour. Participants may ask questions and receive real-time answers. After the initial presentation, the recording will be available at the library website. While not strictly on health and nutrition, this program is part of the library’s “Brown Bag Health Talks” presented by the Extension Service and held at noon on the first Tuesday of the month. Upcoming talks include “Longevity and Health,” on January 5, and “Ancient Grains” on February 2.
