Quakes, Dec. 7

A couple of earthquakes hit the West Coast Friday, Dec. 4. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a rare on land quake, 3.5-magnitude, was located north to northwest of Fort Hill Census Designated Place in Oregon, Coast Range, North Coast. The other quake, a 2.9-magnitude, was located near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. It was recorded north of Fortuna, CA. On Sunday, Dec. 6, a 2.9-magnitude quake was recorded southwest of Petrolia, C, also near Cape Mendocino.
