A couple of earthquakes were recorded Tuesday, Dec. 8 at the southern junction of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quakes measured 2.7 & 2.9-magnitude and were located west of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
