Road Closure, Dec. 16

City of North Bend release – McDaniel Street Road Closure | Beginning this week — weather permitting — the Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board’s contractor Knife River Materials will be closing McDaniel St. between Sheridan and Bayview to remove the existing asphalt paving and replace it. Work is expected to take parts of two days, allowing the new paving to cool with time. Road closed ahead signs will be posted on Bayview and Sheridan at Florida – as the roadway will be completely closed during construction. Weather is dictating the timing. Therefore please plan on utilizing alternate routes this week of December 14th-18th, 2020. Motorists are requested to utilize alternate routes as side streets entering these lanes will have no access through these roadway sections during construction. Note that segments of the road may be rough for one day until paving completes the project. The City of North Bend thanks you in advance for your patience in this matter. Pardon our Progress!
