City of Coos Bay release – The city is constructing a bank stabilization project at the west end of Newmark Avenue. Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 4th. Construction will occur during normal hours of 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday with the exception of January 11th through the 15th. Due to the tidal influences for the week of January 11th, the construction must occur between 3pm and midnight. Any questions can be directed to Public Works Engineering Division at 541-269-8918.
