SCINT Drug Bust Follow up Thomas, Coos Bay, Feb. 9

SCINT release – On 2/5/2021 The Department of Homeland Security, SCINT, Oregon State Police, Coos County Sheriff’s Office, Coos Bay Police, Curry County Sheriff’s Office Coos County District Attorney’s Office and Parole and Probation conducted a search warrant at 1816 Thomas Ave. in Coos Bay, Oregon. The investigation stemmed from a seizure from Homeland Security who had taken several kilo’s of product en route to the Coos Bay area for the purpose of making DMT (N,N-Dimethyltryptamine, a psychedelic drug). The substance was mailed from Mexico directly to the above mentioned residence. With further history into the investigation it was determined there had been numerous other packages that had in fact been delivered. During the execution of the search warrant an active lab to extract DMT was located on the property. Also located in the residence was a large quantity of psilocybin mushrooms and suspected LSD, Firearms, Large amount of US Currency and precursors for the making of DMT. Oregon State Police clandestine lab team and US Ecology responded to assist with safely removing the DMT lab. The Oregon Department of Human Services/Child protective services took the 3 year old into protective custody. The child was evaluated at the hospital for any signs of exposure to the chemicals involved. Two involved, Haven Tre McCoy (25 year old), and Kali Nacona Flowers (24 years old) were taken into custody and transported to the Coos County Jail.
