Oregon State’s softball team opened the 2021 season with five wins at the Easton Invitational in Fullerton, CA last weekend. The Beavers beat Utah State 6-1 Friday, then knocked off Cal State Fullerton 5-4. On Saturday, OSU downed Utah State again, 6-0, beat Cal State Fullerton for a second time 11-0 (5), and then downed Loyola Marymount, 5-1, Sunday in Los Angeles. Oregon State (5-0) is scheduled to play Brigham Young Friday in Phoenix, AZ.
