Update: 9:30 p.m., ODOT: SW Oregon: U.S. Highway 101 southbound is closed at Edson Creek Road (milepost 322.2), about five miles north of Gold Beach, due to a law enforcement investigation. The closure is expected to last several hours. Southbound U.S. 101 motorists are advised to avoid the area or expect long delays.
