Two large earthquakes shook the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast early Thursday morning, April 29. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quakes were 5.5 & 5.4-magnitudes and located west of Bandon off the South Oregon Coast. Both were at a depth of six-miles and did not produce a tsunami wave. A smaller 2.6-magnitude quake also shook the Southern Junction of the two fault lines Wednesday west of Ferndale, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
