City of Coos Bay release – The northbound lane of 6th Avenue between D and E Street will be closed on today, Monday, May 10th, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to facilitate the repair of a broken sewer lateral. The southbound lane of 6th Avenue will remain open to through traffic. A detour will be in place during the closure directing traffic from 6th Avenue to E Street to D Street as shown in the below map. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to please exercise caution within the construction zone.
