Excerpts from North Bend City Administrator’s report to the City Council for May 11. The Municipal Pool is currently closed due to heightened COVID-19 restrictions and insufficient funding for Operations and Maintenance (O&M). Staff is pursuing a grant from the Oregon Communities Foundation that could provide enough funding to operate the pool for the summer months. NBPD – Congratulations to North Bend Police Sgt. Edward Perry on completing the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Law Enforcement Executive Development Association’s (FBI-LEEDA) Trilogy. The Trilogy exists to advance the science and art of law enforcement leadership and promote the exchange of information to improve law enforcement management practices through training, education, and networking among police professionals across the United States and beyond.
