A 2.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded west to northwest of Port Orford in Curry Co. Wednesday, June 2. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located on the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. It was at a depth of six-miles.
