35 & 26 Years of Service to the City of North Bend, June 11

News release from NB City Administrator David Milliron – “Congratulations to Joe Voss on his 35 years with the City of North Bend. He was honored by the Mayor and North Bend City Council at Tuesday’s (June 8th) meeting. Public Works Director Ralph Dunham couldn’t say enough good words about Joe and his work ethic in Wastewater Collections. Joe started with the city when the average cost of a new house was $89,430 … a gallon of gas was 89 cents … you could get a Ford Mustang for $7,452 … and the Space Shuttle Challenger disintegrated 73 seconds after launching, killing all seven astronauts on board. Thank you for your decades of loyal service to North Bend and the residents and businesses it serves!” Also during the Council meeting, “Mayor Jessica Engelke and the North Bend City Council honored career Engineer/Firefighter John Klynman on his retirement from the North Bend Fire & Rescue Department. We wish to thank and honor John Klynman for his 26 years of service with North Bend. Congratulations!”
