The Final Four state basketball championships for 3A & 4A boys and girls is all set to begin Thursday at North Bend and Marshfield high schools. Sixteen-teams, along with their fans, are in the Bay Area for two-days to end the 2020-21 school year. The 3A teams will hold their semi-finals at Marshfield HS. Girl’s games have Clatskanie (11-0) and Nyssa (8-4) at 1 p.m., followed by Santiam Christian (9-1) and Sutherlin (12-0) at 3 p.m. On the boy’s side, Cascade Christian (12-0) plays Santiam Christian (10-2) at 5 p.m. and De LaSalle North Catholic (13-1) takes on Yamhill-Carlton (11-4) at 7 p.m. The 4A tourney will begin with semi-finals at North Bend HS. Girl’s bracket has Philomath (12-1) and Valley Catholic (10-1) to start it off at 1 p.m., followed by Hidden Valley (11-0) and La Grande (11-0) at 3 p.m. The boys have Banks (13-0) and Cascade (12-2) at 5 p.m., followed by Marshfield (11-4) and Woodburn (11-2) at 7 p.m. The Marshfield game will be broadcast live on FM 105.1, KMHS and streamed at www.kmhsonline.com
