Quakes, July 16

Three earthquakes shook the fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Thursday, July 15. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.5-magnitude quake was recorded at the southern junction west to southwest of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. The other two quakes hit the outer fault line. A 2.9-magnitude west of Ferndale CA, and a 2.9-magnitude west of Langlois, OR in Curry Co. All were at a depth of at least six-miles.
