Fatal, Battle Ck. Rd., Aug. 10

LCSO release – On 08/08/21 at approximately 12:00pm the Lane County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on Battle Creek Rd. near Territorial Hwy. A blue Ford Hybrid drove off of the roadway and rolled down an embankment. The vehicle landed on its roof in a shallow creek. The driver of the involved vehicle, 56 year old Rose Marie Vandecar, did not survive the crash and was pronounced deceased on scene. There were no other reported injuries or vehicles involved.
