On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at approximately 6:15 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a vehicle crash on Hwy 372 (Century Drive) near milepost 8. Preliminary investigation revealed a Toyota Land Cruiser, driven by Flynn Lovejoy (19) of Bend, was eastbound when it traveled onto the shoulder and struck a bicycle operated by Richard Wolf (61) of Bend. Wolf sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office lodged Lovejoy at the Deschutes County Jail on charges of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, Hit and Run, and Manslaughter.
