DCSO release – DAYS CREEK, Ore. – A woman and her passenger were injured in a serious single vehicle crash Sunday evening on Tiller Trail Highway. On Sunday, August 15, 2021, around 6:00 p.m. 9-1-1 dispatchers began receiving reports of a single vehicle crash with entrapment in the 19000-block of Tiller Trail Highway near Days Creek. Deputies along with fire and EMS personnel responded to the crash. Deputies discovered a 1993 Jaguar, which had rolled. The driver, 65-year-old Ginger Kapiolani Gramberg and her 62-year-old passenger Robert Butler both of Tiller, were trapped inside of the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency crews. Butler received minor injuries and declined medical assistance. Gramberg sustained serious injuries and was flown from the scene by REACH Air Medical Services to Sacred Heart at Riverbend in Springfield. The investigation is ongoing; however, speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors in the crash.
