It’s taken nearly 50-years but a dream of many was completed recently with Aug. 21st ribbon cutting. Corvallis to Ona Beach. Join us for a Trail Opening Celebration! Saturday, August 21, 2021, Ribbon Cutting at Both Ends of the Trail, 10:00 a.m. at Ona Beach State Park; 2:00 p.m. at the Benton County Fairgrounds Floral Courtyard. From the website: “The C2C Trail is located within the traditional homelands of the Ampinefu or Marys River Band of Kalapuya, Wusi’n or Alsea People, and the Yaqo’n or Yaquina People. It’s taken decades to create this trail with our partners, sponsors, and volunteers. With your help, the trail will endure and improve for decades to come. Enjoy the trail!”
