On 08/21/21 at approximately 08:32am the Lane County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on National Forest Road #21 near Hills Creek Reservoir. A blue GMC Sierra was traveling northbound when it left the roadway and rolled. The driver of the involved vehicle, 34 year old Justin Allen Mooers, did not survive the crash and was pronounced deceased on scene. Two passengers were transported to Riverbend Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
