Prep football practice for football was suspended in late August at Siuslaw High School in Florence due to a positive test for COVID-19 among the team. According to reports, the school district is working with Lane County Public Health for screening, testing and vaccinating. Some vaccinated players are being allowed to practice, while others may have had to undergo a quarantine. It expires Sept. 3rd. Full activities will be allowed to resume at that date with out any new exposures.
