More Quakes at the Southern End, Dec. 23

Several more earthquakes shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Wednesday, Dec. 22. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.4-magnitude quake was recorded west to southwest of Scotia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. A 2.5-magnitude quake was recorded west to southwest of Rio Dell, CA, and a 3.4-magnitude was located west of Petrolia, CA. There was also a 2.9-magnitude off shore, west to Northwest of Indianola, CA.
