Quakes, Jan. 24

A 2.6-magnitude earthquake shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast early Sunday, Jan. 23. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. A second quake was recorded on Sunday west of Petrolia, CA that measured 3.2-magnitude.
