Marshfield’s girls are tied for eighth place in this week’s OSAA/Coach’s 4A Basketball Poll with Banks (11-5). The Lady Pirates (11-3) trail No. 1 Philomath (10-2), No. 2 Cascade (10-2), No. 3 Junction City (13-4), No. 5 Baker (12-4), No. 6 Gladstone (11-1) and No. 7 Marist Catholic (8-5). Bandon (14-3) is No. 6 in the 2A Poll and Coquille (10-2) is No. 7.

Marshfield’s basketball teams are scheduled to play at Elmira in a District 4 doubleheader Tuesday. Pirate boys play at 5:45 p.m., followed by the girl’s at 7:15 p.m. Both varsity games will be broadcast live on FM 105.1, KMHS and streamed at www.kmhsonline.com

North Bend’s basketball teams are scheduled to play at Willamette in west Eugene Tuesday. Bulldog girls at 5:15 p.m., followed by the North Bend boys at 7 p.m.
