Marshfield’s girls beat visiting Siuslaw 53-13 in a 4A District 4 basketball game Wednesday at the Pirate Palace, Coos Bay. The Lady Pirates (3-2, 13-6) are scheduled to host Cottage Grove Friday.

North Bend’s basketball teams host Ashland in a pair of 5A Midwestern League games Friday, 5:15 p.m. girls’ varsity, followed by the boys’ varsity.

Marshfield’s basketball teams host Cottage Grove in a pair of 4A District 4 games at the Pirate Palace, Coos Bay Friday, 5:45 p.m. varsity girls, followed by the varsity boys. Both games will be broadcast live on FM 105.1 KMHS, and streamed at www.kmshonline.com On Saturday, Marshfield’s boys will play at Camas, WA against the Papermakers, 7 p.m. also on KMHS.
