SALEM, Ore. — The Oregon Board of Forestry will hold a virtual meeting starting at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9. The meeting will be livestreamed on the department’s YouTube channel. The board’s business agenda includes: Private Forests Accord discussion; 2022-2024 Board Work Plan decision – Forest Resources Division; Wildland-urban interface and wildfire risk mapping discussion; Forest Trust Land Advisory Committee testimony; Endangered Species Management Plan; Western Oregon State Forests Management Plan; Bureau of Land Management – West Oregon Operating Plan; Draft board policy concepts for financial oversight; Forestry Program for Oregon revisioning; View the agenda and board meeting details. Live testimony is available for item #1 – State forester and board member comments, decision items #3 – 2022-2024 Board Work Plan decision – Forest Resources Division, #4 – Wildland-urban interface and wildfire risk mapping discussion and #6 – Endangered Species Management Plan.
