A couple of overflows caused sewage spills on the South Oregon Coast. On Monday, an estimated 1,200 gallons of raw sewage was spilled in the Bunker Hill area near Coal Bank Slough following a blockage of a line near Harriet Road and Hwy. 101. A sign was posted to warn residents of the spill. Myrtle Point officials reported a discharge into the South Fork of the Coquille River on Sunday morning. Heavy rainfall is blamed for the overflow. The Oregon Emergency Management System and Oregon Department of Environmental Quality were notified.
