In addition to the athletic schedule this week for Marshfield High School, our football program and parents have organized a state championship awards banquet at the Mill Casino for Saturday, April 2 to recognize the accomplishment of the 2021 team. The doors will open at 5:00 PM. Anyone is welcome to attend this event. There are 20 meal tickets remaining at $45 a plate. If you are interested in one of the last 20 dinner tickets, or you would like to attend without dinner, please contact the athletic office for details. Florence Street Vault
Marshfield junior Trent Summers won the inaugural Florence Street Vault Wednesday on Bay Street. Th event was organized by Siuslaw Track Coach Chris Johnson. Summers won the unattached competition with a leap of 15-0, best among 4A vaulters this season. Addison Kleinke, an eighth grader from Eugene who plans on attending Churchill HS, won the girl’s competition with a leap of 13-6. She already holds the National 13-14 Age Group Record. Four girls and eleven boys competed.

Marshfield’s softball team is scheduled to play at Brookings-Harbor, Monday, 4:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on FM 105.1, KMHS and streamed at www.kmhsonline.com
