Marshfield’s track teams swept a four-way meet at Florence Tuesday. The Pirate boys won with 116-points and the Lady Pirates prevailed with 95-points. Daphne Scriven and Tori Cox went one-two in the Shot & Discus. Scriven won the Shot Put (31-10.5) with Cox second (26-3). In the Discus, Cox won (100-4) & Scriven was second (97-10). Charlie Dea won the Long Jump (14-6.25) and the 200 (28.54). Jack Waddington won both the High Jump (5-6) and Triple Jump (39-2). Trent Summers took the Pole Vault (14-3) and the 300IH (46.47). The Pirates host the 114th Annual Coos Co. Track Meet Friday night on Prefontaine Track, Coos Bay.

Marshfield’s baseball team hosts South Umpqua in a non-league game at Coos Bay Wednesday, 5 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on FM 105.1 KMHS and streamed on-line at www.kmhsonline.com

Visiting Harrisburg swept a prep non-league softball doubleheader at Marshfield Tuesday. The Eagles won the opener 4-3 and took the second game 11-7. The Lady Pirates (3-6) are scheduled to host Sutherlin, Thursday, 5 p.m. at the ESD Field.

North Bend beat Springfield 4-0 in a 5A Midwestern League game in the Willamette Valley Tuesday. The Bulldogs (1-4, 6-4) are scheduled to host Eagle Point Saturday at Clyde Allen Field.
