CBPL release – Coos Bay Public Library, in partnership with Dennis Dater of Bay Area Seniors Computer Club, will co-host File & Folder Backup for Novices. Class will be held on Friday, May 6 from 1:00pm-2:00pm via Zoom (virtual meeting software). This class will be an introduction to simple backups. If you are asking yourself, what is a backup? Or do I need one? This class is for you! Dennis will discuss the relationship between files and folders. You will learn how to save files to your computer and back them up on an external device like a flash drive. We will also discuss saving to the cloud via Google Drive, both manually and via automatic syncing/backup. We will end with time for questions.
