Operation Rebuild Hope operates Bryan’s Home in North Bend. According to their website: OUR MISSION: Operation Rebuild Hope serves Veterans by providing fast-tracked housing solutions and support services to those in need. OUR VISION: Every veteran in Southwest Oregon will have a safe and stable built environment and feel engaged with and supported by the community. ABOUT US: ORH is declaring war on Veteran homelessness in rural Oregon by providing real, timely solutions built by and supported by our community. Our Veterans put their lives on the line for the people of the United States with their service, it is our honor to serve them in a time of need. We focus on reducing two statistics that plague our Veteran community, in Coos County and across the nation: The number of Veterans experiencing homelessness: Veterans make up less than 8% of the population in the United States, but make up nearly 10% of the homeless population. The number of Veteran suicides nationwide: There is an estimated 22 veterans that commit suicide every day.
