The Coos History Museum will be open for free on their monthly Second Saturday, July 9th, 2022 during their summer hours from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The museum is also hosting their monthly Explorer’s Club program for children and families for free from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Explorer’s Club is open to all children and families with hands on, history related fun and educational activities. This month’s Explorer’s Club will be a day of many adventures with the opportunity to make-up previous activities for a chance to be entered into the drawing for our grand prize. Explorer’s Club locals who register their children for the program and participate at least once this year will all get a small prize at the end of the year. Those who join in on at least seven activities for the year will be entered to win the grand prize. By visiting the CHM for Explorer’s Club in July and participating in a number of different activities, children will still have the opportunity for the grand prize and a free day at the CHM. Whether you would like to join in on Explorer’s Club just once, all year, or just want to visit the museum for free, visit the CHM for their monthly free day.
